The Pemberton Hornets traveled to Delran to take on the Bears in a Burlington County Conference baseball game. In this game, the pitchers were having trouble keeping the runs to a minimum. Delran broke a three all tie in the bottom of the third inning to finally pull away from their opponents. Matt Luber highlighted this game with a triple to ignite Delran's victory over Pemberton. The Bears went on to post a 12-8 win.

The Hornets were having a tough season this year chasing preseason favorites Delran and Cinnaminson. After defeating McCorristin by 10 runs, Pemberton was trying to end a five game losing streak on the road. Meanwhile, Delran has gotten back on a winning streak after losing to Florence by a 7-1 score. They were looking to win their third game in a row after defeating Maple Shade and Burlington City.

Delran jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after the first inning, but the Hornets came right back to tie this game at 3 in the top half of the third inning. But responding to the challenge, the Bears scored 3 runs in their half of the inning to take a 6-3 lead. They were not done scoring as they score two in the 4th, three in the 5th and one in the 6th to break this game open. Now leading 12-5 going into the top of the 7th inning, Pemberton had too many runs to make up and Delran walked away with the win.
