Each year there are players on a team from a conference that works hard both on and off the field looking to improve on their individual skills. Despite their team's record, those efforts alone make it hard to find indications that a team is not giving their "all" in their quest to come away with a win. Today's opponents, the Lady Lions from Lindenwold traveling to Collingswood, were looking to finish their season on a winning note. This would be the Panthers last game of the season and they would end it positively. Avery Roof scored twice for Collingswood helping the Panthers capture the 6-1 victory.
Both Collingswood and Lindenwold represent the Colonial Conference and each of their divisions have several similarities. Their division is lead by teams that have an experienced team and it shows with their success on the field. Haddonfield and Audubon only have one loss on the season and have clinched their position in the state tournament. Playing for another reason, Collingswood and Lindenwold were concentrating on today’s game. During the game, the Panthers would control the play during the first half and lead at halftime. When the second half was coming to an end, Collingswood would earn the win. To go along with Roof's two goals, Brianna Sobolewski, Caitlin Morrison, Danielle Nardi and Sam Marks accounted for the other goals scored for the Lady Panthers. Flynn would record the lone goal for Lindenwold.
