Two teams in search of a divisional title took the field at Collingswood both looking to extend on a mini winning streak. Haddon Heights were right on the heels of Haddon Township in the Patriot Division of the Colonial Conference while the Lady Panthers were in striking distance of first place in the Liberty Division behind West Deptford. Neither Collingswood nor Haddon Heights had to worry about qualifying for the state tournament as both teams were concentrating on finding a way to pick up the victory. Collingswood Amy Corbit and Katie Feely each scored twice and the Lady Panthers would cruise to the 6-1 win.
The success of the Lady Garnets includes winning nine of their first ten games to start out the season. Collingswood on the other hand went 8-0-2 during their opening ten games. Each of these two teams did wind up losing to their division leaders. Switching the focus back to this game, the Panthers’ 2-0 lead to start the second half was enough to continue keeping the momentum in their favor. Stefanie Bucholski and Nicole Valianti accounted for the other two goals for Collingswood. Lauren Pointikowski would score the lone goal for Haddon Heights.
