Haddon Heights had just won a physical game against Overbrook in the first round of the South Jersey Group II playoffs and knew it would not get any easier. Preparing to keep that winning level, the Garnets were at the high level of play during the first half of their matchup against the number one seed Collingswood. A four goal second half proved to be too much for the visiting Garnets. Samantha Milnes and Courtney Herrman each scored twice, leading Collingswood to a 5-1 victory over eighth seeded Haddon Heights.
Milnes scored the first goal for the Panthers during the first half at the 9:46 mark. That lone goal for Collingswood was a pleasant surprise for Heights. It would be the second half that showed why the Panthers, winners of the Colonial Conference Liberty Division, were the top seed. Herrman scored back-to-back goals just over a minute and a half apart giving Collingswood their second and third goals of the game. Milnes and Lauren Sillipant added two more goals late in the game. Sam Papa, assisted by Shannon Casey, tallied for the lone goal for Haddon Heights.
