High School Ice Hockey: For Clearview, Eight is Enough Friday, January 31, 2003 By Mike Costantino Clearview scored eight goals in the first period paving the way to a 9-1 victory over Eastern in the last regular season game for Tier 1. It marked the second consecutive win for Clearview over Eastern, their main threat to winning the championship. The eight goals was a new team record for one period and the second line did a lot of the damage. All are under-classmen which consists of Bill Dunbar, who had three goals and two assists, Wyatt Fox (two goals and two assists) and Chris Riggs who chipped in with a goal and three assists. Senior forward Jon Probe added three goals. |
