Brian Crosby score two goals in sixty seconds in the second period to snap a 1-1 tie to lead Cinnaminson to a 6-2 win over Rancocas Valley in a game played in Voorhees on Monday night. Anthony Asciutto scored the only goal of the first period to give Cinnaminson a 1-0 lead. After Kyle Aaronson tied the score on the power play, Cinnaminson broke the game open scoring three goals in a span of two minutes. Crosby accounted for two of those goals.
The first came when Crosby lifted a rebound over Chelsea Ward. The initial shot was stopped by Zach Penska. Moments later the same sequence occurred as Ward made the save but was sprawled across the ice and again Crosby went top shelf for a 3-1 lead. Rick Schmid made it 4-1 converting a cross-ice pass from Mike Longo. Goals by Steve Parent and Mike Gideon put Cinnaminson up 6-1 midway through the third period. Rancocas could only counter with a goal by Danny Hennessy late in the game.
