Even before the first pitch was thrown by the opposing team, the coaching staff had already gone over which player or players have the potential of making a big difference in a game. So when a player surprisingly comes through with a big hit, add another player on the must watched list. Whether it really was a big surprise to the other players on Seneca's softball team, Kim Narkiewicz crushed two home runs to dead center field highlighting the Golden Eagles 7-2 win at Cherry Hill West.
Cherry Hill West got on the scoreboard first during the first inning and the Lady Lions held onto a 1-0 lead. Seneca would respond two innings later by scoring four runs. Narkiewicz would hit a two run home run during the inning and the Golden Eagles would lead 4-1. The Lions would get back one of those runs during the bottom of the third to cut their deficit in half. Three more runs over the last two innings of regulation for Seneca accounted for the last runs of this game.
