High School Lacrosse: Fri., April 3, 1998
By Gary Steiner Cherokee came to Cherry Hill East for their second game after a hard fought win against Delran. The Lady Chiefs were predicted by many in the pre-season to be the best in South Jersey, so it would be interesting to see how they faired against the Lady Cougars, a team that statistically they should beat. The Lady Chiefs quickly got down to business, with an 8-0 run before Cherry Hill East scored a goal. The Lady Cougars were clearly out-matched by the experienced ball-handling skills of the Lady Chiefs. It would end up being a long game for the Cherry Hill East, with the final score 16-1.
