High School Ice Hockey: Cherokee Cruises by Cinnaminson Monday, February 3, 2003 By Mike Costantino Six different players scored as Cherokee opened defense of its title with a 9-1 victory over Cinnaminson. Kevin Magnin led the way with three goals and Sean Zahacewski added two goals. Cherokee scored five goals in the opening period and never looked back to enjoy its biggest offensive output of the season. Just in time for the playoffs as the games will only get tougher. Coach Sabol knows you need solid goaltending, which he received from son Chris, and contributions from everyone. Also scoring for Cherokee was Tom Conner, Tim Missel, Mike Garofolo and Bill Connoly.
