When the first day of the week begins, it's the time for teams to either build on or rebuild on their performance from the previous week. New adjustments are made to either refine the plays that worked or didn't work. What was working for the Lady Crusaders from Bishop Eustace was their success on the field. This time hosting Cherry Hill West, the Crusaders would start their week out picking up their second straight shutout. Three different players scored goals for Bishop Eustace as they posted a 3-0 victory over the Lady Lions.
Last week the Lady Crusaders ended a three game winless streak by recording a shutout on Saturday. For Cherry Hill West, they were looking to create a winning streak after starting out the season with three ties and a loss. Bishop Eustace would get that all important first goal of the game when Eve Vitale deposited the ball into the cage. Annie Taft and Caitlin Smith would score the final two goals of the game and the Lady Crusaders were able to pick up the Olympic Conference victory.
