It's still somewhat early in the season, but never too early to take about making the playoffs. With about three weeks remaining before the cutoff for the playoffs, teams are positioning themselves to qualify for the post season and divisional title. Both Collingswood and Audubon are amongst the leaders in their division and both were looking to pick up an important win in their Colonial Conference. With the game tied in the second half, the Lady Panthers from Collingswood scored twice to pull away from Audubon by a 4-2 margin.
Collingswood has not loss a single game and one tie in eight games and find themselves as one of the front runners along with West Deptford in the Liberty division. Earlier in the season, Collingswood defeat West Deptford by a goal giving them the slight edge in the division. Audubon is also in a dog fight in the Patriot division competing with Haddon Heights for the lead. The Wave recorded a 3-2 victory against Haddon Heights back on the 24th of September and was looking to pick up a victory in today's game.
Audubon scored twice in the first half on goals by Melissa Brewer and Danielle Stafulli. For Stafulli it would be her 11 goal of the season to remain about the scoring leaders in the area. As for Collingswood, Lindsey Bozarth added two more goals to her season total of 12. During the second half and with the game knotted at two goals apiece, Stephanie Bucholiski snapped the tie to put the Panthers up by a goal. Danielle Robinson also scored a goal for Collingswood.
