Tanesha Williams, graduate of Edgewood High School, is in her freshman year at Rutgers University in Camden. She plays forward for Rutgers women's basketball team, the Lady Raptors. She has been fortunate to not have any serious injuries that would affect her game, but continues to train to keep herself in the best athletic condition possible.
School at this time for Tanesha consists of her sport and a major in mathematics. She is applying to the education department where she will continue her studies to eventually become a Guidance counselor.
Life changes brought Tanesha here to New Jersey from California in 1999. She brought with her a wealth of basketball experience with JV and Varsity teams. During the summers she volunteered her time to work with special needs students participating in the Cal State Fullerton Special Games. She continues her volunteer work with the community in church sponsored activities that help bring people together in fellowship and sharing.
