Athlete Spotlight: Daniel McGinley III

Hailing from Voorhees, Daniel McGinley III, is a Rutgers University sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. A graduate of Eastern High School, he has been playing soccer for well over 15 years.

This defenseman has recently been chosen the "Raptor of the Week", a Rutgers milestone, recognized for his consistent playing and sportsmanship. He credits the influence of his coaches along the years for pushing him to do the best of his ability and still have fun.

Dan transferred to Rutgers from Camden County College. He's a good student who works hard for his grades. He's quiet and modest and known for being dependable and loyal with long term friendships.
