RAPTOR OF THE WEEK
Joelle Diener (Rickenbach, Switzerland/Kantonsschule, Olten)

Senior Joelle Diener captured her third Raptor of the Week honor this fall while completing her fine Rutgers-Camden cross country career at the NCAA Division III Atlantic Regional in Rochester, NY, Nov. 12. Diener finished 74th overall out of 207 women competitors, posting a 6K time of 25:09.5. It was her second-fastest 6K time of the fall (the fastest was 24:30.0 at the New Jersey Athletic Conference championships Oct. 29) and helped her finish her career with the second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth-fastest 6K times in program history. The Lady Raptors’ team captain also won back-to-back Raptor of the Week honors Sept. 26 and Oct. 3 this fall, and earned a pair of Raptor of the Week honors as a junior on Oct. 4 and Nov. 15, 2004. Over the final two years of her three-year Rutgers-Camden career, she finished first in all 15 cross country races she ran for the Lady Raptors, including all seven this season.
