South Jersey Cheerleading: Sunday, March 5, 2000
By Joanne Costantino With routines performed to an assortment of music from the pop rock sounds of the Backstreet Boys, Latino music of Ricky Martin to the hip-hop sounds of 702 and the R&B of R Kelly, the American Cheer Invitational Championships were held at Rutgers University in Camden. The diversity of the music added to the nice selection of routines offered by the teams. As usual the Cheerleading Competition demonstrated the great work and discipline these clubs and teams put into their work. Awards for the winners are listed by their division and include runners up. Congratulations to all participants. Photos by Art Redd
