South Jersey Baseball: Friday, March 25, 2005 By Bill Cook The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, have announced that Philadelphia Flyers Captain Keith Primeau will visit Waterfront Park when the Trenton Thunder take on the Portland Sea Dogs on Thursday, April 14th. Primeau will be on hand to throw out a ceremonial first pitch and sign autographs for fans. He has been with the Flyers since 1999 when he was traded from the Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes and has been the Flyers captain since 2001. Primeau has led the Flyers to the playoffs in each of his five years with the club. During his career Primeau has racked up over 600 points, scoring 265 goals and 347 assists. The two time all-star enjoyed his best year as a Flyer during the 2000-2001 season when he totaled 73 points on 39 assists and leading the Flyers in goals with 34. Flyers broadcaster Jim Jackson has already become a part of the Thunder organization while the NHL is on "lockout". He will be joining Dan Loney on Thunder radio broadcasts during 2005.
