evening over the last three games, the Riversharks quickly erased a monstrous
home run by former Colorado Rockie Dante Bichette to pull within one game of

Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning, Stoney Briggs recorded
his first two-run hit of the evening as he delivered Quincy Foster and Kevin
Jordan with an two-run single. Briggs was at it again in the bottom of

The Riversharks made it 6-2 in the fourth inning as Tom Hage and Ryan Jones
each drove in runs. The Pride would threaten in the top of the sixth as

Mikkelsen pitched up fifth win of the year as he allowed eight hits and
just three runs, while striking out eight in seven innings of work.
Marty Janzen was tagged with the loss after allowing nine hits and six
runs in four innings of work. Joe Strong picked up his first save in
three appearances as he pitched the ninth inning for

Quincy Foster had three hits.
The Riversharks begin a three-game series with the Pennsylvania Road
Warriors on Saturday, July 31. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. and
