South Jersey Baseball: Riversharks Getaway with 6-4 Win Friday, July 30, 2004 By Don Delaney Camden Riversharks Media Relations Manager The drama built for the fourth game in a row, but in the end the cardiac kids of the Atlantic League won again.  Joe Strong struck out Dante Bichette, the potential tying run, with one runner on to preserve a 6-4 win for Camden on Friday night at Campbell ’s Field.  After waiting to see their decisions decided on the final at bat of the evening over the last three games, the Riversharks quickly erased a monstrous home run by former Colorado Rockie Dante Bichette to pull within one game of .500 during the second half. Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning, Stoney Briggs recorded his first two-run hit of the evening as he delivered Quincy Foster and Kevin Jordan with an two-run single.  Briggs was at it again in the bottom of the third inning as he ripped a triple down the line that put Camden in front, 4-1.  The Riversharks made it 6-2 in the fourth inning as Tom Hage and Ryan Jones each drove in runs.  The Pride would threaten in the top of the sixth as they scored one run, but Camden starter Lincoln Mikkelsen got out of a bases loaded jam to end the threat.   Mikkelsen pitched up fifth win of the year as he allowed eight hits and just three runs, while striking out eight in seven innings of work. Marty Janzen was tagged with the loss after allowing nine hits and six runs in four innings of work.  Joe Strong picked up his first save in three appearances as he pitched the ninth inning for Camden . Stoney Briggs sparked the offense with two hits and four RBI, while Quincy Foster had three hits.
