a five-run third inning to end a three-game losing streak and push past the
Pennsylvania Road Warriors, 8-3, on Monday night at
Quincy Foster used his 25th multiple hit game of the year to
get the Riversharks offense, which has scored 11 runs over the last four games,
started. Foster had four hits, three RBI and stole four bases. The offense, which included a pair of two-run doubles by Stoney Briggs
and Tom Hage in the bottom of the third, supported the strong pitching
performance of Bryan Ward. Ward improved to 3-1 lifetime at
Hage finished the game with three RBI as he also belted a solo home run
in the bottom of the seventh inning off of
Former Atlanta Braves pitcher Terrell Wade took the loss for the Road
Warriors as he allowed eight hits and six runs in three plus innings of
