By Chuck Schmidt Tuesday night, MBCS won the Palmyra-Riverton Continental League Championship, defeating Villari's Milmarian 9 - 8. MBCS swept the series 2 - 0. On the first night, K. Mack and E. Costigan combined on a 1-hitter, winning 1 - 0. B. Pacek scored the only run of the game. In the clinching game, MBCS took a 7 - 2 lead, but Villari's Milmarian fought back to take an 8 - 7 lead into the last inning. B. Pacek led off the inning with a double, K. Mack singled, and E. Costigan singled home both runners to win the title. During the regular season, MBCS had a record of 11 - 2, and Vallari's Milmarian went undefeated with a record of 13 - 0.
