(ATLANTIC CITY) The Atlantic City Surf and the Camden Riversharks plit a doubleheader at Bernie Robbins Stadium Wednesday night.

Atlantic City won the first game 2-1 and Camden won the second 4-3.

Camden is now 23-19 in the second half; Atlantic City is 22-19. The Riversharks are in first place by a slim 1/2 game in the race for the South Division second half championship.

In the first game Lincoln Mikkelsen pitched the Surf to a 2-1 victory as only allowed five hits in seven innings of work. The margin of victory was provided by Atlantic City's Dario Delgado who slammed a solo homer off Camden's starter and loser John McDonald in the sixth innings. McDonald allowed two runs on eights hits and fell to 8-5.

Mikkelsen is 12-5 for the Surf.

Ozzie Timmons had the other RBI for Atlantic City and Camden's Abreu drove in on the only Riversharks run in game one.

In game two Camden exploded for four runs in the fourth inning off Surf starter Leo Estrella on a pair of two-run homers by Ryan Jones and Alejandro Freire. That was all the offense Camden would need as Ryan Costello, 6-6, got the victory and Chris Fussell picked up his 19th save.

The two teams meet again Thursday night were it will be TO Unappreciation Night at Bernie Robbins Stadium. There will be appearances by Pat Croce, Angelo Cataldi, the Eagles pep band and assorted other celebrities. Beers will be $1 all night long and hot dogs will sell for .81.
