South Jersey Baseball: Thursday, August 26, 2004 By Chuck Betson The Atlantic City Surf committed six errors as they fell 6-2 to the Camden Riversharks Thursday night at Sandcastle Stadium. Shortstop Henry Encarnacion committed three errors behind starter Rob Corrado. Corrado pitched six innings allowing six runs, all unearned, on five hits while striking out five. Shortstop Raul Marval drove in the only Surf runs with a two-run homerun, his thirteenth. Riversharks’ first baseman Ryan Jones hit an opposite field grand slam to lead the offensive attack. Dwight Maness and Tony Rodriguez had two hits apiece. Starter Jim Bullinger, making his second start for Camden, pitched four shutouts innings. The win went to Blas Cedeno. He allowed two runs on three hits in three and two-thirds. |
