At the Flyers Skate Zone the Eastern Vikings won this years' edition of the Spring Varsity League despite starting slowly. Event Spotlight: Koleski Agrees to Terms with Charge Charge Host Women's Soccer Clinic Tuesday, July 9, 2002 By Greg WileyPhiladelphia Charge Correspondent The Philadelphia Charge agreed to terms with forward Tara Koleski on Tuesday. Koleski spent last season and part of this year with the San Diego Spirit before being waived on June 10. In 2001 she appeared in 19 games, including nine starts, and scored four goals with three assists for 11 points in 962 minutes of action. She made the most of her final six starts, tallying a team-high four-game goal scoring streak and a five-game point streak to close out the year. |

The league is in its second year following a 10-12 year hiatus. The league's name and reputation for great ball players is quickly growing. Many current All-South Jersey & past All-South Jersey players play in the league. Names such as Terrell Baker, Curtis Scott, Reggie Welch, Brian Turner, Antraye Miles, Torry Brooks, etc are all in this league.
