Ocean City, NJ - What looked to be an easy game for the Barons resulted in their third straight loss to a persistent Brooklyn Knights team in USISL D-3 Pro League soccer game at Carey Stadium. The Barons had won eight straight before the current losing streak.

By Rocky Zarrelli "I knew I wanted to get stronger, to get more stamina, to get better," high school basketball player Sarah Goldberg said. That's why she called Graig White. Goldberg, 15, a point guard who will be a sophomore at Cherry Hill High School East, has also played soccer, volleyball, and softball, and is a talented vocalist. She is a young woman who demands much from herself.
Gregory White is Strength and Conditioning Coach for Intercollegiate Athletics at Rutgers University (Camden), his alma mater. His job: Enhancing athletic performance.

With high school sports put on hold for the summer, you would think that students would be enjoying their days off. With all of their free time, most would enjoy themselves at the beach, visiting family and friends or maybe having fun at some amusement park. There are those students trying to gain that extra edge over the break by preparing themselves for the upcoming fall and winter sports. Some students are getting that professional training to push themselves beyond their expected limits.

By The Kid SJSports Online would like to bring to our readers' attention a race which honors the memory of a popular educator and runner from South Jersey - the second annual Bill Kile's Memorial Run. This TAC-certified four-mile race will be held Saturday, July 25 at Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, NJ. The gun will go off at 9 a.m. "Interest has started to pick up the last month and we're looking forward to another great turnout," said race-director Bill Kile III. "We have some new sponsors this year and that is very exciting." Proceeds will benefit The William H. Kile, Jr. Humanitarian Scholarship Fund at Pennsauken High School.
