High School Boys Soccer:
By Alec Walker Edgewood came out strong in the first half on Thursday, but fell short in the second half. The scoring led off with a goal by Brian Gambone at 5:32, followed by two goals by Greg Ruttler. With the score at the half in favor of Edgewood 3 goals to 1, Edgewood looked to be on the road to their fifth win.
But with a questionable call by the referee in the opening minutes that gave Edgewood forward Dave DeBartolomeo a red card, and the Eagles mentality in the second forty minutes, the Crusaders were able to battle back to score four goals and take the much needed win from Edgewood.
